POLICY, ADVOCACY AND RESEARCH
We recognize that study of how space is organised, distributed, accessed and interpreted in Indian context is a question of justice and therefore the role of architecture and of professionals in the field is an important one in reimagining and recreating a more equal and sustainable world. As we urbanize rapidly, each project offers us a chance to put out ear to the ground and listen to how our cities and communities are organised, how space is shared and negotiated. This is valuable political knowledge that we create during our work. The question is how to extract it out of the confines of an expert practice and create social change. In attempting to answer that we recreate ourselves as curators, facilitators, catalysts who tackle questions of now and attempt to inform public policy.
